It’s nearly the holidays! Keep going – they are just around the corner!

I know lots of you are busy in mock exam mode and that you are all heads down and tails up with marking.

Please be sure to have plenty of time for yourself at this time of the year – it’s easy to catch a cold or get sick when we are all so busy.

Why don’t you consider going to this conference with your department?

Last time (2014) this conference was awesome  – there were great presenters and fascinating learning to be had. I loved it!

This year the conference is on August 12 and 13 – Rototuna, Hamilton.

This time, the organisers are setting the bar even higher with low-cost and high-quality as simply a given. We’ll be in Hamilton at the brand new Rototuna Junior High School in August for a green event that disrupts conventional conference practice. Less sit and get, more think and do. Educators will find their tribe and be inspired to think deeper, inquire harder, and to challenge their assumptions.

Therefore at the heart of the conference will be our “learning tribes”. Conference attendees will be grouped in tribes and guided by a tribe mentor.
